Introducing Mitch Bedard, Quotations Manager

We are excited to share that Mitch Bedard has been appointed as the new Quotations Manager at Medgar Lighting & Controls Inc. With his extensive background and versatility in the lighting industry, Mitch will transition into Scott McLean's role and take on all pre-sales responsibilities starting July 24th. Mitch's wealth of experience and expertise undoubtedly make him a valuable addition to our team. We are confident that his contributions will further enhance the success of MedgarLCi going forward.

Mitch joins us with 13 years of experience at Cooper Lighting Solutions, where he most recently served as the Customer Experience Manager. In this role, he successfully oversaw inside sales and customer service activities for the GTA Market, as well as national and retail accounts. Throughout his tenure at Cooper, Mitch held various positions including Post Sales & Warranty Coordinator, Quotations Specialist, Marketing Manager, and Pre-Sales Manager. He holds an Electronics Engineering Technology Diploma from Niagara College, and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Lakehead University.  Mitch grew up in Zurich Ontario, and currently resides in London with his wife Sarah.

While Scott will be stepping down as a partner, we are grateful that he has chosen to remain on our team. His continued presence will assist in ensuring a smooth management transition, while also allowing him to contribute to our ongoing process improvement initiatives.

This change will further complement the changes that took place earlier this year. Matt Dreszel has assumed greater responsibilities as the leader of our specification sales team, in addition to his ongoing role as the head of the lighting controls & applications teams.  Pat Haughey also continues to serve as a Partner at MedgarLCi. This leadership transition at MedgarLCi is a clear testament to our progress and growth throughout the years. We are thrilled to welcome Mitch to our team and remain dedicated to upholding our legacy of success as a trusted authority in the lighting industry in southwestern Ontario.
