Lumetta's Luminaires Shine at the Huntington Beach Senior Center in Central Park, CA
The Senior Center in Central Park is a focal point for a multitude of programs and services important to the quality of life for the seniors in the Huntington Beach community. The Center is a multi-purpose facility and offers opportunities for involvement and companionship with a wide range of social, recreational, and educational programs promoting wellness.
The 38,500-square-foot Center–dedicated to keeping Huntington Beach seniors healthy and active–hired the DLR Group, an architectural firm who are passionate advocates for sustainable design, to create an ethereal atmosphere that would promote peace and tranquility for the residents, employees, and visitors.
The group specified Lumetta as their lighting supplier and requested multiple lighting fixtures throughout their waiting areas and entertainment rooms. DLR decided that Lumetta’s Custom Shadow Double Box Pendants and Custom Shadow Box Pendants were in order for these areas and requested that they be customized utilizing Pearl Aqua and Trans Opal colored diffusers.
The beauty of the juxtaposition of the opaque and transparent shades created a dramatic, elegant Art Deco look.
