Application Photo: Image Policy
Rules
Image Composition• Images may only contain application-based content related to lighting, controls, site furnishings etc. within the Architectural, Commercial, Industrial, Residential etc. sectors.
Do:
Do upload images that showcase beautiful lighting products.
Don't:
Don’t upload images that are not related to lighting, architecture or the built environment.
Text overlayed onto images
• Images may not contain text.
Do:
Images that contain signage or text within the natural environment will be accepted.
Don't:
Images may not contain any text, including but not limited to product information, marketing messages, company name, etc.
Graphics overlayed onto images
• Images may not contain graphic overlays.
Don't:
Do not include graphics of any kind, including gradients, icons, or product artwork, etc.
Don't:
Do not include logo overlays. Images that we distribute to your Agents and Specifiers will always contain your company name and backlinks to connect with your brand.
Advertising
• Application photos are not a place to advertise in any form, other than to showcase your projects through the application image itself. If you are interested in advertising, please utilize the “Advertising Banners” tools that are available to Pro Level Subscribers.

Product Photography
• The Lighting Exchange application photo tools are intended for project photography only where products are shown within the space. Product photography and extreme product close-ups are not permitted.

Do upload products that are shown within a space.
Don't:
Do not upload images of product photography or extreme close-ups.
Image Licensing Protection
• Never upload photos that you do not own or have a license or permission to distribute. For a complete list of copyright protection details and responsibilities, please refer to our Terms of Use.
